We come out to measure for your flooring then you can visit our office in Moreton to view samples and discuss your flooring needs. Or we can bring the samples to you so you can pick from home. Either way we try best to get the correct flooring for your project.
I have over 30 years’ experience with Amtico, Karndean and other luxury vinyl flooring and recommend the best type for your floor area. You can have the wood planks laid straight or diagonal. They can be easily customised with borders following the edge of the room as well as features created without additional major expense. They are suitable for all rooms in your home including bathrooms and conservatories with very high resistance to UV fading. As I have been working with these products for so long I can offer impartial advice.
As with many products preparation is as important as the fitting which, if incorrect, can lead to a very expensive disaster making it important your fitter is skilled with all the preparation to avoid the pitfalls that can exist.
We check for damp on all sub floors to see what preparation you need and if the floor needs a DPM (damp proof membrane).
We then plywood wood sub-floors like floorboards or chipboard. We use different types of screed to level & smooth old or new concrete sub-floors.
